Miller is probably best known for revamping Batman with THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS in 1986. Miller's fascistic tendencies have become more pronounced over the years. HIs extremist philosophy permeates his recent work like 300 (1998), which retold the story of the Battle of Thermopylae, and especially in ALL STAR BATMAN AND ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER (2005-2008).
